19 April 2004
We were delighted to co-host a soirée at Christie's Great Rooms at King Street, London SW1.
After canapés and champagne, offered by Christie's, a private showing of the forthcoming Old Masters' Sale was introduced by Dr Timothy Hunter, a Director of Christie's and a member of the Foundation's Advisory Board.
The musical programme featured Marie-Stéphanie Janecek, the highly-talented young Swiss cellist, and Marina Lodygensky, an equally talented young Swiss soprano. The two musicians were accompanied by the French pianist Simon Zaoui.
An enthusiastic audience of 150 people enjoyed the evening.
