Advisory Board Member Jeffrey Gusman, Esq. is an experienced General Counsel who provides worldwide attorney services focusing on technology licensing, entertainment and corporate matters.

For the past eleven years he has been the senior counsel (software licensing, corporate, sales & administration) at one of the world’s largest technology and consulting services companies.

Previously, Mr Gusman was an attorney at the General Electric (GE) unit of NBC Cable TV Networks (CNBC, MSNBC), with prior major law firm experience at Skadden, Arps and Sullivan & Cromwell.

Mr Gusman’s General Counsel and entrepreneurial experience focuses on technology transfer and commercialising dormant intellectual property (licensing software, hardware, live financial market data aggregation, music and other digital entertainment content). He has completed leading-edge projects for TheStreet.com, stockpikr, Atari, Inc./Warner Communications, Yamaha R&D, Disney, NBC TV Sports and ABC TV Network among others.

Mr Gusman earned his Juris Doctor degree with Honors in International Law from Brooklyn Law School, a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University, with additional studies at The Juilliard School and The Akademie für Musik (Austria) and he is admitted to practice law in New York and Connecticut. He supports charitable organisations involving the arts, health services and human rights issues.
