Marcus Miller is a up and coming voice in modern music. Starting the saxophone at age nine under the tutelage of Bruce Williams, Mr Miller developed an interest in jazz music and a keen melodic sense. As a teenager he hung out at Jam sessions around New York and New Jersey, broadening his musical palate and learning both the science and emotion of improvisation. He put his music career on brief hold, earning his bachelors from Harvard in Mathematics and working briefly at a hedge fund, however he soon returned to his true passion of music. Since moving to New York, he has played the music of Duke Ellington at Carnegie Hall, worked in recording sessions with Sly Stone and George Clinton, and produced music for several artists worldwide. Currently Mr Miller is developing his band, Wave Music. Please click here to visit Mr Miller's personal website. |
