Matthew Barnes has had a varied business background. After qualifying as a lawyer in London with Mayer Brown, he worked in investment banking with HSBC, Baird Group and NatWest. He has since been adviser to, director of or co-owner of a number of growth businesses in digital media, medicine and sport.

Mr Barnes has been involved in a number of music projects, including the sale of a record company, the creation of merchandise for a major music industry awards ceremony, and facilitating classical music performances to promote international cricket and football events.

Mr Barnes is a viola and piano player but leaves the music to the experts! His primary roles at Arts Global include working closely with its business partners, and overseeing worldwide activities across the Group.
