Virtuoso violinist Eric Silberger is a prize winner of the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition and the Michael Hill International Violin Competition in 2011. His performances have been described by critics as "spine-tingling...astonishing confidence" (The Guardian), "bold, technically solid, charismatic" (Indianapolis Star), "impeccable level of playing, a wonderful musician" (Heather Kurzbauer, The Strad), “astonishing virtuosity” (Nuvo), and “so electrifying” (DC Theatre Scene). Mr Silberger has performed as soloist, recitalist and chamber musician throughout the United States and around the world, including solo performances with the St Petersburg Philharmonia, Chamber Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre, Munich Chamber Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, among others. He has appeared at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Louvre in Paris, the Great Hall of the St Petersburg Philharmonia, The Moscow International House of Music in Russia, Shanghai Grand Theatre in China, the National Arts Centre in Canada and more. Among numerous television and radio appearances in the United States, Asia and Europe, he was featured on Radio France, STV in China, KBS in Korea, and WQXR, WFYI, FOX 59, WISH-TV and WBAI-FM in the United States, and has appeared in "Live from Lincoln Center," the "Perlman in Shanghai" telecast on PBS, and the "Kennedy Center Honors" on CBS. He has won the Violin Concerto Competition at Juilliard, and has served as concertmaster of numerous orchestras. As an avid chamber musician, he is an artist of the Castleton Chamber Players under the direction of Maestro Lorin Maazel, and he performs chamber music frequently in the United States and at music festivals.

Born to a musical family, Mr Silberger is a fourth generation musician. He began violin studies with his mother at the age of five. Since 2005 to present, he has studied at Juilliard School with Glenn Dicterow, Concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic, and currently serves as a teaching assistant to Glenn Dicterow at the Juilliard School.  He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University, and continues his studies at the Juilliard School for the Master of Music degree. His former teachers include Pinchas Zukerman at NAC-YAP, Itzhak Perlman, Robert Mann, Dorothy DeLay, Hyo Kang at Juilliard School Pre-College, Kurt Sassmannshaus at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and Ik-Hwan Bae at the Indiana University School of Music. He has been a part of some of the most prestigious summer music festivals including the Castleton Festival, National Arts Centre Young Artists Programme, the Perlman Music Program, The Heifetz International Music Institute, the Bowdoin International Music Festival and the Aspen Music Festival and School. He is CEO of Jukubox LLC, President of Epresto Entertainment LLC, former organizer of the Barnard-Columbia-Juilliard Concert Series at Miller Theater in New York City, Co-Founder of the Fourbythree Chamber Orchestra, former president of the Columbia University Classical Performers and former president of the Columbia University Moy Yee Kung Fu Club.
