Australian Connections

The Swiss Global Artistic Foundation was proud to support a delightful evening of Australian music at Australia House, on The Strand in London. The concert took place in the presence of the Australian High Commissioner, Mr Michael l’Estrange, a long-term friend and active supporter of Australian musical development.

The event was a collaboration between the Australian pianists Penelope Twaites, John Lavender and several inspired young performers.

The Foundation’s involvement stemmed from its award of the first prize in Ms Thwaites’s first “Performing Australian Music” competition in 2001.
