Playhouse Project of East Hampton, New York presented its 4th Annual Master Class for South Fork students on 22 and 23 May. The event was expanded to two days in response to overflowing demand, and more than 50 student musicians and composers ages 12-19 participated. For the past three years, Playhouse Project has collaborated with Swiss Global in presenting this event, with Artistic Director Geoffrey Simon and Founder and Director Heather de Haes leading the classes. Australian guitarist and Swiss Global Young Artist Simon Powis (pictured right) performed for the students at the close of both days. Special prizes will be awarded to outstanding student performers at a musical event on 14 June.
