Fifty million people watched Swiss Global baritone Duncan Rock (pictured right) perform the Australian national anthem, “Advance Australia Fair” at the opening of one of international cricket’s most celebrated rivalries, The Ashes
. The cricket tournament, dating back to 1882 and taking place every two years, pits England against Australia. Additional soloists included Katherine Jenkins mezzo-soprano and Sean Ruane tenor.
