On 8 October 2006 the Anglo-Suisse Artistic Foundation took the decision to change its name, in order to reflect its recent growth and broadening horizons.
It was felt that the name “Swiss Global Artistic Foundation” would accurately apply to the Foundation’s present activities while well serving the organisation’s planned future development. The name has been duly registered in Switzerland and the UK.
The Foundation’s structure and charity status remain the same.
The new website address is www.swissglobal.org, but the previous website address will forward to the new address for the foreseeable future. The Foundation’s email addresses are now [firstnamelastname @ swissglobal.org] although emails sent to the previous addresses will likewise be forwarded.
The change of name was formally announced at the Soirée for Investec on 12 October in Geneva.
